Burst Pipe Cuts Water Supply Ahead of Hosepipe Ban

A burst main in north Oxford has left thousands of homes and businesses without running water, as Thames Water dispatches specialist teams to repair the damage.

The incident compounds water scarcity concerns across the region, which is already facing its first hosepipe ban of the season.

Engineers are working through the weekend to resolve the problem and maintain the ban measures until reservoir levels recover.
