British Actors Show Support at Hollywood Strike Rally Demanding Better Pay and Terms in Streaming Era

On Friday, a rally was held in London to show support for the striking writers and actors.

The rally was attended by a number of British actors, including Simon Pegg and Brian Cox.

The actors' union, SAG-AFTRA, and the Writers Guild of America are calling for increased pay and residuals for actors, as well as assurances that they will not be replaced by artificial intelligence.

The rally was organized by the British actors' union, Equity, and its General Secretary, Paul Fleming, said that the union is fully supportive of the strike and wants to ensure that no loopholes are used.

The rally was attended by a number of British actors, including David Oyelowo, Andy Serkis, Imelda Staunton, Naomie Harris, and Hayley Atwell.

The strike has disrupted the production of numerous films and TV shows, but actors on Equity contracts are still able to work.
