Britain to Offer Troops for Ukraine Defense if Peace Deal Reached

Deployment would focus on air defenses and ports under NATO-led mission

The United Kingdom has announced that it is prepared to send troops to Ukraine as part of a reassurance force if a peace agreement is struck with Russia.

Defense officials said the proposed deployment would include forces tasked with defending Ukrainian airspace and protecting key port infrastructure.

The pledge highlights Britain’s ongoing commitment to Kyiv and NATO solidarity, while raising questions about the potential risks of direct military involvement should the fragile peace unravel.
