The summit aims to promote Britain as a leading global destination for overseas capital and showcase British successes in areas such as life sciences, deep tech, nuclear fusion, and small modular reactors.
The event will feature more than 200 bosses of multinational companies and investment corporations, and Boris Johnson, the prime minister, is expected to attend.
The GIS was last held in October 2021 at London's Science Museum, and this year's event will be staged at a separate historic location in the capital.
The government hopes to demonstrate that capital investment in Britain is being unlocked by post-Brexit financial liberalisation measures, which include the Edinburgh reforms outlined by the chancellor earlier this year.
