Bristol Drug Gang Members Sentenced for Cocaine Supply

Members of a drug gang involved in supplying millions of pounds worth of cocaine have been sentenced to a total of 35 years in prison.

The gang leader, Anes Troudi, received a 17-year prison sentence after admitting to conspiring to supply up to 50kg of cocaine. Adnan Malik, Carl Powell, and Gary Browne also pleaded guilty to their involvement.

Troudi was sentenced for conspiring to supply up to 50kg of cocaine, valued at £5 million, between January 2020 and January 2021. The investigation used evidence from the encrypted communications platform EncroChat.

Adnan Malik received a nine-year sentence for conspiring to supply six kilograms of cocaine bought from Troudi. Browne received a seven-year and six-month sentence for conspiring to supply five kilograms of cocaine, along with other drug-related charges.

Carl Powell received a suspended prison sentence and a five-month curfew order. Detectives emphasized the gang's deep involvement in organized crime and the prosecution's commitment to combating drug-related activities.
