The Borussia Dortmund team bus received a £50 parking fine while parked in Tynemouth, following their Champions League match against Newcastle United at St James' Park.
The bus was fined for parking on Grand Parade, and North Tyneside Council jokingly mentioned they might ask Eddie and the team to help collect the fine after they play Newcastle again on November 7.
Civil enforcement officers issued the ticket for parking in contravention of restrictions, and the fine could be reduced to £25 if paid within 14 days. Newcastle United, participating in the Champions League for the first time in two decades, will visit Borussia Dortmund next month.
