Boohoo Calls for Clarification from Revolution Beauty Over Accounts Obstruction Allegations

Boohoo, an online clothing retailer, is drafting a letter to the AIM regulatory authorities to demand that Revolution Beauty clarify an earlier stock exchange announcement that Boohoo had obstructed efforts to finalise its accounts.

Boohoo also plans to seek assurances that voting decisions at a forthcoming Revolution Beauty EGM are upheld and not subsequently overturned.

The two companies have been embroiled in a row over corporate governance issues, with Boohoo seeking to reshape Revolution's board.

Revolution has rejected Boohoo's claims, saying that the reappointment of three executives was necessary to facilitate the resumption of trading in its shares.

The two companies have not commented on the situation.
