Blue Origin reignites its space tourism endeavors today, with the mission titled NS-25 launching from the company's Launch Site One in West Texas.

Among the six passengers is Ed Dwight, a former Air Force pilot and notable sculptor, who narrowly missed being selected as a NASA astronaut in the 1960s.

At 90 years old, Dwight will become the oldest person to travel to space, surpassing Star Trek's William Shatner.

This mission marks the first crewed flight in nearly two years after a 2022 rocket incident halted operations.

Blue Origin, founded by Jeff Bezos, aims to take passengers beyond the Karman Line for a brief period of weightlessness.

The successful flight will resume competition with Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin's main rival in suborbital space tourism.
