Beyonce's Concerts in Stockholm Cause Temporary Spike in Inflation

Beyonce's two concerts in Stockholm, Sweden last month have been attributed to a rise in inflation in the country.

The demand for hotel rooms and restaurant bookings was so intense that it pushed up the official inflation statistics.

The concerts are believed to have added approximately 0.2% to the overall rise of 9.7% in inflation.

The economist believes that this increase is temporary and will be reversed in June.

The "Beyonce effect" has been attributed to high levels of tourism and almost full hotel occupancy in Stockholm.

The earnings from the tour are estimated to exceed $2 billion.
