The statement came before the second Ashes Test at Lord's, following the release of a damning report into cricket in England and Wales that highlighted issues of racism, sexism, classism, and elitism.
The report, which gathered evidence from over 4,000 respondents, found that problems exist within the game at all levels, including in the England dressing room.
The report's chair, Cindy Butts, said the problem is "widespread" and that it heard of problems "throughout cricket."
