Bella Thomas shares her wellness routine her beauty non-negotiables

Her minimal routine is all about working with what you’ve got and prioritising the right things. Because beauty starts from the inside out.

Model and creative Bella Thomas prefers to keep it simple. Her minimal routine is all about working with what you’ve got and prioritising the right things. She’s a big fan of reformer pilates and currently studying holistic nutrition, so she knows that beauty starts from the inside out.

Here, she shares her favourite products and reveals that sometimes the best cure-all is simply a hot bath.

What does your skincare routine look like?

At the moment I’m keeping it super simple. I have been seeing Hayley at Solstice Skin and she’s helped me find a simple but effective routine. I’m currently using Dermaviduals - cleanser, serum, moisturiser and sunscreen. Night-time is the same except I sub the serum and moisturiser for Emma Lewisham Face Oil and Night Cream. (obsessed with both of these!!)

Do you have a makeup routine you follow?

Not really! I don’t wear much. I just pat in a small amount of concealer under my eyes, still getting through a pot of the Glossier Stretch concealer. I then use the Chanel multi-use face Baumes.

Describe what you do for a living? What does a typical day look like for you?

At the moment I’m a model and creative. If I’m not modelling, I always have something to work on. I’m either shooting for brands that I work with or studying online. I started studying holistic nutrition during the strict lock downs, I’m really loving it!

Do you have a supermarket/ drug store/ chemist beauty product(s) that you use and love?

I shouldn’t but I can’t do a summer without Reef suntan oil. Whoops! Of course, I lather sunscreen underneath (ha-ha!)

How do you keep fit and healthy? Does exercise form a large part of your routine?

Yes, exercise is a big form of my routine, I love it. This past year I have been addicted to reformer Pilates- I find it extremely energising. I’ve also started trying to run, I want to love it ha-ha but it’s slow slow journey.

Do you have a favourite beauty procedures or professional treatments? eg microdermabrasion, Botox, facial massage, gua sha?

I will definitely indulge in a facial massage when I can. I do very much enjoy the Acupressure massage by Jessie at The Calmm (highly recommend!!) I use a Gua Sha myself at home, there are some great YouTube’s to explain how to do it.

You’re tired or rundown: what is your beauty hack?

Face mask and a hot bath.

What is the one non-negotiable in your beauty routine?

A good moisturiser and a glass of The Beauty Chef collagen (it’s delicious).

Do you have a beauty icon? Who are they and why?

I love a natural woman, anyone comfortable in their own skin.

What is the best advice on wellness you’ve received?

Everyone is different, see a professional doctor, naturopath, dermatologist etc to find out what works for you in the desired area.

What is the best advice on health you’ve received?

I’d say the same as the above! As well as to eat a variety of nutrient dense foods. Long term vibrant health is created by small, daily actions.

What is the one product you can’t live without?

Honestly, the Glow powder Gut Primer from The Beauty Chef... I tend to not always listen to my body and love to indulge ha! A glass of this never fails to sooth my stomach after a meal.
