During the protest, the word "liars" was graffitied on the side of the BBC building. The protest was described as "fairly spontaneous" and involved various groups.

The demonstrators called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, which has been experiencing an upsurge in conflict between Hamas and Israel. Israel has expanded its strikes in response to a cross-border attack by Hamas three weeks earlier, resulting in casualties and hostages.

During the protest in Cardiff, roads were blocked, and the demonstrators held up names of people killed in Gaza since the bombing began. Chants for a ceasefire and a free Palestine were also part of the demonstration.

Sammie, a Palestinian Jordanian attendee, emphasized that the issue is not just about Palestine but a human issue. South Wales Police and the BBC were asked to comment on the incident.
