The BSB condemned the act as "seriously offensive" and damaging to public trust in the legal profession. The incident occurred after a chairperson criticized Mr. Davidson for his accent, prompting him to respond inappropriately.

Mr. Davidson, whose practice areas include crime and family law, among others, has been a member of the bar since 1973. He has the right to appeal the decision.
