Api Ratuniyarawa, a Barbarians rugby player, has been charged with sexually assaulting three women at Revolution bar in Cardiff.
The alleged incidents occurred independently of one another between October 31 and November 1. Ratuniyarawa, a Fiji international who plays for London Irish, was set to play in a game against Wales but has now faced Cardiff magistrates, denying the charges.
He has been subjected to stringent bail conditions, including an electronic curfew, a prohibition from entering Wales except for court matters, no contact with witnesses, and no entry to licensed premises.
His next court appearance is scheduled for December 4 at Cardiff Crown Court. Barbarian FC is cooperating with the police investigation and has withheld further comment due to the ongoing legal process.
