Representative Alaa Abed, deputy of the Arab Parliament, emphasized in his statements the clear and honest stance of the Egyptian political leadership from the beginning, which advocates for the Palestinian cause.
He highlighted Egypt's commitment to reviving the peace process, supporting the two-state solution, and the establishment of an independent State of Palestine with its capital in East Jerusalem, based on the borders of June 4, 1967.
Abed also noted that the issue of Palestine is a central concern for all Arabs and commended President El-Sisi's diplomatic efforts, including making and receiving communications to promote a truce in the Gaza Strip.
He stressed that these actions confirm Egypt's pivotal role in the issue. Abed further stated that the Egyptian people fully support President El-Sisi's decisions in backing the Palestinian people, signifying strong domestic backing for Egypt's stance on this critical regional issue.
