Andy Burnham Government Removes VAT From Electricity Bills to Cut Household Costs

Prime Minister Andy Burnham announced that value-added tax on domestic electricity bills will be removed from October first, with the estimated eight hundred fifty million pound cost covered by canceling the previous government’s digital identification project.
