Actress Amanda Abbington has withdrawn from the TV show "Strictly Come Dancing." The 51-year-old star of "Sherlock" and "Mr. Selfridge" missed a recent episode due to medical reasons but had been expected to return.
In a statement, the show's organizers confirmed her withdrawal and wished her well. Abbington, paired with professional dancer Giovanni Pernice, has not yet commented on her withdrawal. This season of "Strictly Come Dancing" has seen several contestants voted off, including Les Dennis, Nikita Kanda, Jody Cundy, and Eddie Kadi.
