During the meeting, Dr. Al-Qasabi emphasized the need to enhance trade and investment relations between Saudi Arabia and Algeria and establish partnerships with the private sector in various fields.
He highlighted the importance of building strategic relations between the two countries and exploring cooperation opportunities that align with Saudi Arabia's programs and objectives in keeping up with new developments. Dr. Al-Qasabi also emphasized Saudi Arabia's interest in strengthening trade relations with Algeria through activities such as exchanging visits and organizing commercial exhibitions to promote opportunities and increase Saudi exports.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of reducing customs restrictions to facilitate the movement of goods and services between the two countries. The news also mentioned that the trade exchange volume between Saudi Arabia and Algeria from 2018 to 2022 amounted to approximately SR12.6 billion, with plastic and its products being the main Saudi exports to Algeria and metal products being the primary Algerian imports into the Kingdom.
