A woman in the City of London has expressed concern after discovering that her home address was used to register a company she had never heard of. The company, which claimed to sell sports equipment online, registered on Companies House using Maggie Upton's residential address in September.

She has called for increased safeguards to prevent such incidents, as it was easier to register an address than to remove it. Companies House stated that new powers will be implemented to crack down on this practice. While Ms. Upton has contacted the police and Action Fraud, her case is not yet considered a crime.
