16-Year-Old Boy Charged with Attempted Murder and GBH After Violent Assault at Blundell's School in Tiverton
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a violent assault at Blundell's School in Tiverton, Devon, left two students in hospital.
One student is in a critical condition, while the other is in a stable but serious condition.
A member of staff at the school also sustained injuries, but has since been discharged from hospital.
The suspect is due to appear in court on Monday, and police are continuing to investigate the scene.
Head teacher Bart Wielenga sent a letter to parents and guardians about the incident, urging them not to engage in speculation or post about the incident on social media.
