He credits his long life to a weekly fish and chips meal and regular hiking in his youth.

Tinniswood, a Liverpool FC fan born in 1912, advises "exercising the mind" and "moderation." He has lived through the eras of football legends Billy Liddell and Dixie Dean.

Married for 44 years until her death in 1986, Tinniswood worked for Royal Mail, Shell, and BP before retiring in 1972.

The previous record holder, Juan Vicente Pérez Mora of Venezuela, passed away at 114 years old.

The text is about a man named Mr. Tinniswood who shared his earliest memories of attending schools in Lawrence Road and The Holt Secondary School (now Childwall Comprehensive School).

He does not follow a special diet and enjoys fish and chips every Friday.

Mr. Tinniswood advised living a healthy life by not overloading the system and getting along with people.

He was presented with a Guinness World Records certificate on April 4.

The oldest living woman, Maria Branyas Morera from Spain, recently celebrated her 117th birthday, and the oldest living man's evidence was examined by Guinness World Records.
