Liz Truss: Donald Trump is the Safer Choice for US President, According to Ex-UK PM

Former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss endorsed Donald Trump for the US presidential election, expressing her belief that the world was safer when he was in office and expressing concerns about the potential for strong conflict.
She made these comments during the first trial of Trump's criminal cases in New York, where he is the Republican nominee for November's election.

Truss, who recently spoke at a pro-Trump conference in the US, stated that the West's opponents were more fearful of the Trump presidency than the Democrats under Joe Biden.

Liz Truss, a British cabinet minister, told the BBC that she believed the world was safer during Donald Trump's presidency due to his more aggressive stance towards Iran and China.

She also praised Trump's support for Ukraine, including the sale of Javelin missiles, despite recent Republican efforts to block military aid.

Truss acknowledged not agreeing with everything Trump said but appreciated his actions.

She expressed concern about the threat of left-wing extremist ideas to Western society and civilization and wanted to work with fellow conservatives to address this issue.

Liz Truss, the UK's former Prime Minister, expressed her support for Nigel Farage potentially rejoining the Conservative Party and becoming an MP. Truss believes that Farage, the founder of Ukip and Reform UK, shares conservative values and it's unfortunate that he's not already a part of the Conservative Party.

Truss made these comments during an interview on the Newscast podcast, ahead of the publication of her new book where she discusses her political philosophy and her brief tenure in Downing Street.

She claims that she was forced out of office after just 49 days by influential figures within the civil service and the establishment.
